Having a spinal cord injury at a very high level, being almost completely paralyzed, is terrible. I know because a bus accident broke my neck at the level C3/4. I can only move my head. My first life ended at 26 years young. My second life... I suffer every day, since 1995. How many people's lives are down by this type of damage?! Let's discover how to repair a SCI, NOW! What is broken can be fixed.

- Make everybody aware how terrible having a SCI is.
- Make it clear that more research could bring a repair.
- Mobilize people to give more priority to serious research.
Expensive research? If we'll discover how to repair a SCI, we'll say it was a wise investment, for the quality of life and financially.

How can we get much more priority for all kinds of research? It's not just a matter of money.


SPINAL CORD INFORMATION
We need to discover as much as possible knowledge about a healthy spinal cord, how it reacts on trauma, and how it reacts on our help. I just collected some information about it, I'm certainty not a specialist.

HOW TO REPAIR
I truly believe it is possible to repair a damaged spinal cord -in theory.


CARE ROBOTS
Chances are care robots will be here sooner than the spinal cord repair. In that case; I would like to have two robots please.

PREVENT PRESSURE WOUNDS
Pressure wounds can have terrible even deadly consequences. How can we prevent them? I decided to design my own cushion.
