Aliens?!

IF the number of planets in this universe is infinite, and the chance of life more than zero, than there's probably an infinite amount of worlds with alien life out there. Alien life doesn't necessarily have to live on an Earth-like planet, it could be in one of these gas clouds or wherever, so the amount of worlds with life can be even more.. more than infinite ;-)
How might life outside our box of expectation be like??
If the amount of locations that could support life (as we define it) is less than infinite, then the amount of locations is limited also.

Do you realize how large our universe is? If you think God created life on Earth -I don't know- then he or she probably did the same trick on some of the countless other planets. Whatever caused life here, has probably done that all over the universe.
Two algae talking in a ditch: "do you think there are other ditches, that also contain algae?" "alien algae? what have you been drinking?!". Don't most people think like that too?

We humans are a specie that's like one step beyond the animals on this planet. We're just a bunch of freaks really, but we like to see us selves as being superior to the other animals. Let's for now stick to the assumption that the amount of alien worlds is infinite. We aren't visiting other galaxies yet. We haven't found a way to travel faster than light. Slower than lightspeed isn't an option really. By the way; we don't necessary have to accelerate mass to beyond lightspeed, the point is to get from A to B really fast.

Of all the more advanced species, some will have maps of large parts of this universe. Some maps will include our Earth. IF possible, some will have the capability to travel from galaxy to galaxy really fast. IF there can be such advanced species, they have been in our universe for millions of years already, or forever. We aren't currently in contact with aliens. "There are no aliens" is just on of many explanations, the easiest one. We don't stop at every ditch to communicate with the algae, so why would more advanced species come to us? To eat us maybe!

We can try to climb up the ladder of evolution much faster, and become interesting. Not sure if that would be a smart thing to do though. We can also choose to live in symbiosis with the algae forever. Who knows; maybe we'll find out in the end that the algae are the perfect life form.
